Jill was amazing!
She helped us with everything. We felt like we had our very own personal shopper. Highly recommend this store! Be sure to ask for Jill.
Sew-ciety was a WONDERFUL experience!!
Sew-ciety was a WONDERFUL experience!! We met these lovely ladies at the quilt festival, and they were so kind and helpful. They even went out of their way to pick up something specific we needed for our longarm machine! We talked with them and they gave us so much useful information about our handiquilter, our trip to the quilt festival was worth it because we found this hidden gem of a quilt shop♥️ we will DEFINITELY be coming back here next time!!!
I loved it so much that I had to have this one!
I bought your Dinner Plate Dahlia kit earlier this month and I loved it so much that I had to have this one.
I have bought several Judy Niemeyer kits in the past years and no one breaks down the sections. It makes a difficult quilt even more difficult. I love that you break it down! I will continue to buy your kits for this reason. Thank you so much for the extra hard work you put into your kits.
The staff is the BEST!
Your store is always bustling with activity and always looks exciting, ever-changing and the staff is the BEST!
I especially appreciate Julie and the way she is able to teach someone as novice as me and instill confidence and make the learning experience so much fun! All of her good basic training has already come in handy on my other projects and I really enjoy the easy-going and fun way she teaches.
I look forward to coming back for more!
I left feeling Wowed by your staff
I went down to your store with Marj for her birthday. Kim was so kind and helpful as Marj picked her fabrics and other sewing items to celebrate her birthday.
Of course, Jeanette was her usual special person and Jenny offered her expertise. I left feeling Wowed by your staff and just wanted to let you know.
See you tomorrow night. Thanks for adding the extra support for Stitcher’s Garden. I am looking forward to working on my squares.
The best quilt shop in Castle Rock
Overheard at the Road to California show… We just bought a place in Castle Rock and she said “oh, there’s the best quilt shop in Castle Rock”…I said, “I know, my friend owns it”…she said, “Sew-Ciety”, I said “yes, that’s it”. Then I asked if she ever participated in the shop hop and told her I fly in to work it and so I tried talking her into coming in for it. Anyway, it was fun! She was very complimentary so I thought it would be a fun way to start your day.
You have been overwhelming patient, friendly, kind
Where do I start with my sincere appreciation for all the help you have given me on the Quilt-a-lot Runner and all the other projects I have taken on. As you know, I am a beginner sewing student and you have been overwhelming patient, friendly, kind and extremely helpful. You have also been very generous in lending me machines, fabric and countless odd and ends. Thanks 🙂
I want you to know I believe you run a very fine business, one that combines relationships, customer service along with business which is very hard to find today. Keep up the great job!
Something that is so special to me is that I have learned something from everyone of the gals throughout my many visits to the store and together you have an atmosphere of a sewing community that I feel privileged to be a part of.
Great customer service
I absolutely LOVE my new sewing table!!! I’ve been sewing up a storm ever since I got it. I can’t believe how much room I now have. Also, I can’t say enough about the great customer service I always receive at Sew-Ciety. It’s great to shop where everyone calls you by name.
This is the most amazing store!
This is the most amazing store! I have never experienced such wonderful customer support anywhere else, ever. I love being in the warm, friendly atmosphere of Sew-Ciety.
Sew-Ciety is like family
I’ve been going to Sew-Ciety since before they opened. I saw their sign, walked up to the window, and said, “open…open…open”. I’ve never been disappointed. Sew-Ciety is like family and they’re my 2nd home. If my boys or husband don’t know where I am, they know to check Sew-Ciety first. Their customer service and friendliness are 2nd to none. I first went there just to take a class and now 10+ years later, an SE embroidery machine, a serger, 100+ UFO’s, and much much more, I’m still amazed every time I walk in the store to find even more new and exciting things to buy, sew, and/or a class to take. Thanks Carol, for bringing little old Castle Rock such a fun store and a model small business 🙂
Oh My Goodness!
Oh My Goodness! I think I’ve died and gone to heaven. I just received my new custom sized cutting table and love it, love it, love it. Mine is 38″ tall,36″ wide and 78″ long, so I no longer have to bend over to cut out my quilt pieces or wrestle with large pieces of fabric. No more aching back! With the extra large drawer I store my serger AND my 100Q sewing machine. All my rotary blades and rulers are stored and handy for use in the other drawers. Did I mention that I love this table. 🙂
They bent over backwards to help my mom
I just had a terrific customer service experience yesterday while visiting my mom here in Castle Rock, Colorado. She had started embroidering State Bird & Flower Quilt Blocks back before I was born (so over 52 years ago)…at that time there were only 48 states! To make a long story short(er)… we got those blocks out and decided that it was TIME to finish that q…uilt…
…Enter a local store “Sew-Ciety” here in Castle Rock. We walked in and it was not only a beautiful store, but they bent over backwards to help my mom find the PERFECT fabrics, figured out yardage, and gave great advice on how to get this long time DREAM quilt completed. We were having such a good experience already, then Jenny held up one of their “6 Box Cards” and said “Bob Negan!!!!!” (We should have guessed!) 🙂
…After visiting with their gracious owner, Carol Bonetti, I knew that she and her staff “Got It” as Bob would say… they are not selling fabric & sewing machines, they are HELPING people realize their DREAMS!
Really enjoyed my first visit
Really enjoyed my first visit to your shop yesterday! Love my new dragonfly fat quarters!
I had a great time
Thank you so much for my first class with Simon Haskins. I had a great time and appreciated all the hard work of all of you put into the 2 days with Mr. Simon. Great people, fun and wonderful FOOD!!!
Sincerely,
Thank you for giving me a new hobby
Dear Carol,
I want to thank you for giving me a new hobby and much fun! I had driven by Sew-Ciety so many times thinking how enjoyable it would be to learn to quilt, but I never seemed to make it in the front door until my 45-year old sewing machine was rendered inoperable. I purchased a Pfaff 4.0 embroidery machine from you in February, and I have made a quilt!!! I’m currently in the process of making another one, and it is going to be gorgeous. So exciting!
As a CPA, I worked with many small and medium sized businesses; and the reason for this letter is to commend you for doing so many things right in your business.
1. Customer service is non-existent in many businesses today, but not at Sew-Ciety! Every one of your staff members has a smile for anyone who walks in the door. They are knowledgeable about all the sewing machine brands you carry and are happy to help whether it be to answer a question on the phone or spend time solving a problem in the store. So many times I have called you, and the answer is always “Come on in! We’ll get you going!” I even need help picking out fabrics for my quilts, but your staff has an eye for color and fabric. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the way the quilts have come together exactly as I imagined.
2. The second thing that comes to my mind when thinking about Sew-Ciety is the one on one training as well as the group classes you offer. It had been many years since I had sewed anything, and times have changed! Jennie spent all the time I needed educating me about the capabilities of my new sewing machine. The classes you offer are a great way to enhance skills and met other people with the same interests. The classes serve all levels and are offered for so many projects. When you invite experts in to conduct classes in certain techniques, everyone comes! What a party!
3. Third, thank you for the inventory. I like the fabrics you carry and you certainly have all the tools. Actually, Carol, there are some tools I could probably buy for a few pennies less at a discount store; but I shop only at Sew-Ciety because I am grateful that you are located in Castle Rock and I want to make sure your business is profitable and you stay here!
4. Fourth is your service on a machine cleaning and repair. When I thought I had problems with my machine, you let me know that a service person would be in your shop to fix it that week and I didn’t have to send the machine ANYWHERE. It turns out I didn’t have any problems with my machine. You just educated me about more features. When I do need service, though, I appreciate the fact that I can bring the machine to your shop and you will have a service technician evaluate it and service it in your store.
Carol, thank you again, and thank you also to Jennie, Jeanette, Jan, Julie, and LouAnn. I’ve worked with all of you, and I’m so grateful for your help!
