Sewing Machine with zig zag plate, new 90 embroidery
needle.
Fabrics:
1 Fat Quarter of your choice. Prints, stripes, or plain.
Additional:
Clear Vinyl – a By Annie’s product sold by the roll
22” – 24” zipper to coordinate with your fabric
Thread to coordinate/compliment your fabric/zipper combo.
It can be sewing thread or embroidery thread.
Please wind a bobbin to match your chosen thread.
Sewing Scissors to cut vinyl
Sharp Thread Scissors
Fabric scissors
Clips instead of pins
Sharpie with extra fine point to copy pattern onto vinyl
Low tack tape such as Kimberbell tape
Fabric Preparation:
Cut 2 (2 ½” x 20”) bias strips from the fat quarter. Press the strips in half so they are 1 ¼” wide.
