New Class for June!

New Class for June!

Color Class – Meets for 13 Months, Starting June 20th, 6pm-8pm

Why do some quilts work so well and others don’t? Why are some so eye-catching and others seem drab?

This class is designed to help you understand color so that your quilts fairly POP with colors that are enhancing each other and leading to greater enjoyment.

Do you need this class? Does your friend or quilt group?

This is a MUST for all quilters, of all skill levels. This class introduces you to the world of color in a way that you cannot do by yourself. This is a class that will enhance all other classes you have EVER taken. Don’t let this opportunity pass by. The Guide to Color Class requires a minimum of eight students and will accommodate up to twelve. This is a BIG commitment! You will make a quilt every month for a year (wall hanging, baby, or bed…size doesn’t matter).

Each person will bring their project each month to the class. The class will consist of instruction; then a good portion of it will be for comparing, contrasting, critiquing, and commenting on the use of color and how it influenced the quilt and the quilter.

Some might end up being excellent examples of the monthly assignment/challenge; others might have “failed” in the attempt. But everything will be a learning process for all members of the class. This is an essential part of the monthly meeting, so committing to this class means committing to making something every month.

Instructor: Terri S.

Class Fee: $300.

Just need paper and pencil for the first meeting.
