This crock pot baked ziti dish was served in class with Janie Lantz on June 28, 2014
- box of whole wheat penne pasta
- 16 oz ricotta
- 2 egg whites
- Parmesan cheese
- shredded Mozzarella
- 2-24 oz jar pasta sauce
Coat crock pot with Pam. Rinse noodles and add 1/2 to crock pot. combine cheeses, egg, cheese. Top noodles with 2 cups of sauce and then 1/2 cheese mixture. Repeat. Pour 1 cup of sauce. cook for 4-6 hours on low. Remove lid and add 1 Cup of Mozzarella and 1/4 C of Parmesan. Replace lid and allow to sit for 10 minutes to melt. Garnish with basil.
