Join and Fold Edging Foot: “Use the Join and Fold Edging Foot together with different types of edging, such as lace, embroidered edging or varying fabrics and the gorgeous Husqvarna Viking decorative stitches to create beautiful edgings. Create home dec items quickly and easily, add lace edging to garments for that romantic look or dress up a craft project with lace edges. This foot will easily guide the edging and the base fabric through the openings in the front of the foot, fold the base fabric and simultaneously sew the edging in place.

Romantic Cutwork #219

You’ll want to add cutwork embroidery to all your projects with this incredible collection. The designs are very detailed and rich with cutwork, but made so easy because they are now digitized to use the Cutwork Needles. The collection features many endless designs, each style has a coordinating 240 x 150 design and small 100 x 100 fill-in design.

This is the embroidery collection that takes full advantage of the Cutwork Needle Kit; there are six 100×100 mm free standing, ten 150x150mm reversed appliqué and ten 240x150mm traditional cutwork all in a capturing style. Here we also use the cut out of the cutwork to use as a pop up as an effect on some of the embroidery.

In this rich learning environment you will not only plan for two of your own designs but also collaborate, view the designs of others, and learn from everyone else in the class. Tired of just “Stippling”? Building muscle memory through practice is the key to smooth, effortless free motion/freehand fill design with your sewing, mid-arm or long arm machine. But, you can’t be at you machine every minute of the day. When you can’t be at you machine…Doodle. The muscle memory that it takes to doodle, is the same muscle memory you use to free motion/freehand fill at your machine. In this class you will learn how to build muscle memory. You will learn how to doodle a series of designs, step by step, and how to build your own collection of all over quilt and border designs. Seating is limited. Teacher Linda Visnaw

Notion Commotion
Three Hole Yarn Foot: Decorate your project with different types of decorative cords or yarn using beautiful wide Husqvarna Viking® stitches and the Three Hole Yarn Foot. This foot will easily guide the yarn through the openings in the front of the foot back through the groove under the presser foot. The decorative yarn will be stitched over creating a beautiful braid embellishment.

Changeable Open Toe Foot: The Interchangeable Dual Feed with Changeable Presser Feet is designed to feed layers of fabric and/or batting evenly. It is perfect for quilting, sewing velvet, some stretch fabrics, imitation leathers and fabrics which need accurate pattern matching. Use the Changeable Open Toe Foot when sewing Satin stitch applique, Taper stitches and Decorative stitches. The tunnel on the underside of the foot feeds smoothly and the open front gives greater visibility and a great overview of the stitches.

Changeable 1/4″ Guide Foot: The Interchangeable Dual Feed with Changeable Presser Feet is designed to feed layers of fabric and/or batting evenly. It is perfect for quilting, sewing velvet, some stretch fabrics, imitation leathers and fabrics which need accurate pattern matching. Use the Changeable ¼” Guide Foot for straight stitch and hand look quilt stitch. The guide will help you keep ¼” (6mm) distance.

Creative Cutwork Needle Kit: These specially designed needles and embroidery designs do your cutwork for you! Using the specially created embroidery designs and the cutting needles instead of regulare needles, the is cut while it embroiders. Just above where the eye normally is, the needle is shaped into a knife like wedge that does the cutting for you. The needles are inserted into your Viking or Pfaff machine just like normal. The set includes four needles and 5 special embroidery designs.

Highly addictive! Once you start with these pop up flowers you just can’t stop. You’ll be putting them on everything, vases, brooches, garment, your favorite skirt and much much more. There are five small and five larger flowers. They were created so you can skip the satin edge color block (see instruction) to create a flower with a raw edge instead satin stitched edge. Plus, as a bonus all the big flowers also is available to embroider as a coordinated outline to use with the pop up.

Today we attended 5D Software Certification, Part One

Want you to know the WOWs from today…

Encore-is now much more. You can encore in the circle, hoop and line and now is Shapes. You can select 20 plus shapes to Encore with. Encore in a line now includes eight types of lines.

My Thread Ranges. You can now have multiple MyThreads. So, if you are doing the Fall Changing Seasons you can load those in a My Thread Range and also if you are doing Hoopsister TNT you can load a My Thread Range for that. Are you getting the picture? This is huge!!!!!! Oh and you don’t have to go to Organizer to convert the design…you can do it inside EXTRA. Love it!!!!!

Perfectly Placed Letters. Create your embroidery design and then add letters and the letters automatically snap to the correct placement for the design. No need to move and reposition
